Holiday In Mexico

Though it may not be a Jane Powell movie, Seanna is spending her "Holiday in Mexico"at a cancer clinic as she ministers to her Grandparents and others at the hospital. Of course it wouldn't be like our daughter not to have a little singing along the way as she concerts the staff and patients at the San Martin Hospital. It has been noted that she was accompanied by a talented guitarist to play such beautiful music in hymns and plans a special Christmas Concert for the occasion.
Bravo Seanna! You always have a way of making something beautiful out of difficulties. We are so proud of you!!!

Here is an update on Seanna's Grandmother who has bone and stomach cancer. The stem cells (which they do not use fetus's to create-imagine that?!) seem to be working for her kidneys, liver etc.... Her Grandmother "Marilyn" received her first "Cancer specific" vaccine created specifically for the particular blood and cancer she has. It is amazing how it is beginning to destroy the cancer. It also causes physical stress to varios degrees that verify it is working but is wearing on her already weak Grandmother. Seanna said she seemed to handle it well yesterday but today she was struggling.

I am asking for continued prayers during this very precious Holiday Season for my mother to have the strength to overcome, that the vaccine specific for her cancer will remove it all and her body will be strong enough to rid it completely. That she will begin to heal, gain weight, physical energy and much hope with joy this season. I am asking for prayer for my father that he will be encouraged and strengthened that he will be blessed with insurance coverage for much of the alternative medicine to cover these high costs. Also prayer for our daughter who has joyfully given her time, talents, endurance to face such sorrow and love to her Grandparents this Holiday Season. Along with spending the New Years and beyond for them in a difficult situation. We bless and honor Seanna for her kind sacrifices and willingness to give. May God pour over her -wisdom, joy, strength with intimate fellowship and even greater blessings upon her each and every day.

Seanna,

I called Grandpa last night and he said you were upstairs getting ready for your Christmas concert.
I wish I would have been there to hear you sing and film you as you ministered in music last night to those at the clinic. What a joy you have been to your Grandparents and others there. Dad said that this has to be one of the hardest times of the year for these patients to be away from their families. We know God sent you to encourage and minister to not just your Grandparents but everyone around you.

Though Christmas was not the same, and we missed you so much, we are blessed by your sacrifices and are so very proud of you.

Merry Christmas!

Hi Seanna,

I hope things are going well for you while you are in Mexico. (I suppose it is warm there!)
Your grandmother is in my prayers.
The Lord bless you as you continue to minister to your grandparents; I'm sure it brings them joy and comfort just having you there.

In the coming year, may the Lord continue His good work in your life as you press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. (Phil. 3:14)
