A Heart For God~Reckless Abandoned for Him

May God help you to fling yourself against the Rock,
Jesus Christ, in utter faith, in a total abandonment of yourself, leaving behind your preconceived notions of what God is supposed to do for you and remembering that God never does anything to you that isn't for you.
Elisabeth Elliot
"He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just.
A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he".
Deueronomy 32:4
Seanna's favorite words~
To be "Reckless Abandoned" for Christ Jesus.

I wanted to thank all of Seanna's dear friends that have written encouraging letters and expressed a desire to send her care packages. She is so honored and blessed and said it has been a highlight to receive your letters and packages. Seanna says she is feeling better but we ask for your continued prayers. She said she is growing immensely in the Lord and learning a great deal.

God is so good!!

Hi there. I just discovered Seanna's blog. Could you tell me please...what is EXCEL?

I wasn't able to tell from her past posts what has been wrong with Seanna but I'm glad she's feeling better!

I'm excited to run across a blog of someone who has been involved with the SAICFF. I'll be back! :)

Hi Ruthanne,

EXCEL is like a Proverbs 31 bootcamp for young women. It is a wonderful way for young women to grow in the Lord and develop many skills in Godliness, homemaking, serving their families and learning ways to powerfully effect their communities and the world as God and parents lead.

Our daughter has been trained in many of these skills already but my husband felt she needed the spiritual refresher courses, encouragement and develop greater Christian strength, maturity and character-that would come from such excellent training.

Regarding illness:
Our daughter was chosen by the Lord to be allowed to receive a depth of sickness not everyone experiences. Many have told us that our daughter has greatness in her, she has a stong hand of God upon her, that she was set aside from a young age for a special work for the Lord. Some even recently said she has a powerful work in the Kingdom of God and she was targeted to wipe her out & her testimony. Our daughter has been blessed with a brilliant mind, is very talented in many areas and has a depth about her beyond her years.

Whatever the reason for this deadly attack, I believe God allowed this for a higher plan and what the enemy meant for harm God will use for a greater purpose just like he did for Joseph in the bible.

She was struck down several years ago with Lymes disease (along with many other diseases that came with a lowered immune system including-T.B., Epstein-Barr Virus, Microplasma Phenmonia, West Nile, Malaria etc...)- I could go on and on. This is actually the first time I even mentioned some of this. Most people have absolutely no idea how deathly sick our daughter was and may not even believe it if I told them had it not been medically documented. The list is longer than this and would have scared off most people. Yet, since she is recovering so well and under the circumstances-I want to give God glory and our doctor praise.

She has been Lymes free and of the other diseases for a while now but her body is still trying to get back on track after so much intense attack to her system. It really wiped her out for a long time. She sometimes seems completely well but if she doesn't watch it she weakens again. It is an ongoing process as she progresses forward then backwards and as we are learning how far she can push her body while giving herself permission to baby herself as she needs it.
Her system just needs time but she is amazingly doing well under the circumstances. She is now up daily at 6am and is in intense training and busy all day until 9:30pm-when bedtime is required. For her this is a full day and has been very hard but she loves the spiritual intense training and is determined to see it through the 8 weeks.

Not more than a year ago she was so sick that just to get her to function before noon was a miracle. We are so proud of her with great excitement over this progress and healing. We actually did not expect her to be doing so well-it seems lately she is getting better and stronger every month-which we did not anticipate. This is a recent development.

Here is the EXCEL schedule so you have an idea of the training. It is not recommended for younger girls to go through and I personally would not send a daughter under 18 (but that's just me). It is a very intense program spiritually and one has to have the maturity to get the most out of it.

This-(below)-schedule does not cover all the activities of the day but just the classes. There is a lot more to each day then this.

Seanna,

I just wanted to tell you how beautiful you are. You are a jewel among young women with a depth a wisdom and insight found in few. I admire your ability to discern so wisely, your brilliant mind, your many gifts and abilities in alternative health, business, communications including an incredibly anointed voice.
Though few know all you have suffered, you have shown great self control and maturity over the years. Though I know you have had set backs, you have come back beautifully! You have shown greatness of mind and heart especially this year as you went through a very trying time this summer. Though you have been innocent in the whole matter, God knows what you have suffered through the mistakes that we have made and the cruel, insensitive behavior of others. It does not go unnoticed by Our Lord Seanna. Do not grow weary in well doing or give up hope in God's best for your life. For you will reap in due season if you faint not.

I am so proud of you! You are loved with an eternal love by us all.
