Samuel's favorite past time. Do you think he will ever outgrow it? This has to be a guy thing. Dad wanted to be a fireman too when he was little. What is it about the loud sound of a fire truck, being thrown out of bed in the middle of a dream, swooping down a greasy poll, Dalmatians, red hats, yellow jackets, oversized boots and the smell of smoke in the wee hours of the morning? Is it all heroics and adrenaline rush? Perhaps there is more then meets the eye.
Yes it must be the thought that they are being heroes that thrills them so.
Then, I was always attracted to fire. Don't know why. I got myself into quite a bit of trouble a few times when I reappeared to the house after burning up a barbie doll, or some other toy that didn't belong to me. "We were never overly fond of barbies" LOL
I reckon most of them grow out of their infatuation with the whole fire man thing after a bit.
