Miss Kressant's Tea at Griffin Park

Society Column Snippet-
"Ladies Tea is Unanimously Voted a Huge Success!"

"Over Memorial Day weekend a ladies tea was given. The guest list included such prominent figures as the Mr. Michael Morton Family, Mr. Frank Campana Family, and of course the reputable Sanders and Hosch Families. Mrs. Charles Vawser took time out from her European tour and was accompanied by her two sons, Master Andrew and Mr. Matthew Vawser of Kimberly.

Among those notables attending "Colonel Longreer and his lovely wife Mrs. Longreer". The tea was hosted on the grounds of the Smith Estate by the illustrious Miss Kressant Amanda Smith. Joining her, were sisters Miss Rachel and Miss Bethany Smith of Griffin, GA.

An extra item of interest:
Were we mistaken or did we catch a glimpse of the elusive star Miss Seanna Hollinger from the recent feature "Garments of Praise"? It is not confirmed, however, there were reports that she graced the company with a private rendition of "Voi, Che Sapete' "

Dear Editor,

I have heard "from a very reliable source" that Miss Seanna Hollinger came down with a very severe case of Laryngitis or some other what you macallit, and saved the performance by singing in a lower key. I even heard the audience had absolutely no idea, how shocking! . Her performance went off without a hitch. Shall we believe that this young singer is creative and quick in mind? I look forward to hearing more Snippets from your column as you follow this mysterious young performer.
